Depending on car group rented, customer is liable for an amount ranging between 2,000.00 EUR and 10,000.00 EUR if Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) is not taken. Purchase of CDW reduces liability to an amount between 650.00 EUR and 3,000.00 EUR depending on car group rented in the event of an accident, theft, or vandalism to the Avis vehicle.
Theft Protection (TP) is included in the CDW

Customers presenting a driver's license in a non-Roman alphabet must also present an International Driving Permit (IDP) to serve as a translation in addition to their valid drivers license.
