Pick-up service policies (hours of availability, allowable pick-up distance, etc.) vary by location so it's important that you call the location and make arrangements for pick-up at least 24 hours before your desired rental time. When you call the location, be ready to provide all applicable information including precise address, exact time of pick up, and a phone number where you can be reached at that time.
Please note that an off-airport Avis location cannot pick you up at an airport that has a Avis location. In this case, either you must rent your car at the airport location, or provide your own transportation to the off-airport location where you prefer to rent

Additional Driver Standard Policy
Additional driver can be added when picking up the car for 7 Euro per driver per day (Maximum 10 day chrage).
Only You or an Authorized Driver can drive the Vehicle.

Accaptable credit cards American Express, Visa, Master/Eurocard.
Avis Latvia accepts Avis Charge Cards.
Cash prepayments and fixed value vouchers must be supported by an acceptable credit card.
For car group J, L, M, N customer must provide Avis 2 acceptable credit cards.
*With Avis charge card two credit card requirement does not apply.
In case of prepaid rental if you do not collect your vehicle and do not cancel, there is no refund and the full amount of the voucher will be kept as compensation.

Public Liability and Property Damage
Public liability insurance is in accordance with the insurance laws of the country. Customer may inquire at the time of rental for additional information of the benefits, conditions and acceptance.
Note: Some credit cards provide insurance coverage, with certain limitations, as a benefit of using the card to rent vehicles. The customer is advised to contact the card issuer before the rental. Any waiver must be discussed directly with the location upon arrival.
Additional Fees
11% Riga Airport Station Surcharge (Premium Location Fee) applies on total rental charges (minimum 20 Euro) .
Winterzation surcharge from October 15 till May 14 is applied of 4.25 Euro per day. All car groups are fitted with winter tires during that period.
Out of office service fee (Meet Late Arrival) applies 19:30-08:30 (Mon-Fri), 19:30-09:30 (Sat-Sun) 40.00 Euro per pick-up / drop-off.
This service is on request, please contact reservation center or location for service confirmation.
After Hours Information
Extra days rental plus Late Return Fee of 18.15 Euro if the vehicle was returned late without prior agreement.
Age Requirements
Minimum renting age - Car Groups B - Minimum age of 19, Car Groups C, D, E, F, H, I, K - Minimum age of 21, Car Groups G, J, L, M, N, O - Minimum age of 25
The minimum of 1 year driving experience to rent a car.
Young driver surcharge will be applied to driver and additional drivers under age of 25 years of 10 Euro per driver per day (Maximum 10 day charge).
Cancellations/No Shows
Non-cancellation Fee if customer does not cancel the reservation before the pick-up date/time or does not pick-up the car within 24 hours of agreed time, a non-cancellation fee of 60.50 EUR will be charged.
No Show Fee 35.00 EUR for failed delivery or collection.
Delivery and Collection
Within cities: Riga
Delivery and collection to and from hotels an addresses between 09:00 - 17:00 for charge of 30.00 Euro.
Vehicle delivery to any address please include your telephone number and credit card data in your reservation.
Non agreed return station fee: 35.00 EUR if the car returned to a station that was not agreed at check out.
Estimated Totals
Approximate total includes base rate, taxes, and surcharges. Items such as coupon discounts, child safety seats, winterization fee from 01Dec - 01Mar, late service surcharge and gas are NOT included in the estimated total. Optional coverages and one-way fees are subject to tax in certain locations. This tax is not reflected in the Estimated Total.
Estimated total is subject to change based upon exchange rates at the time of rental.
Riga Airport working hours are:
Monday to Friday: 8:30 am - 7:30 pm.
Saturday and Sunday: 9:30 am - 7:30 pm
A fee of 33.00 EUR plus tax will apply for out of hours service.
Fines
515.00 Euro Cross Border charge out of The Baltic States is applied for driving out of The Baltic States without the written permission from Avis Latvia.
35.00 Euro Traffic & parking fine handling fee. While driving in Latvia the drivers must follow the local road and parking rules. In case of traffic violation Ideal Services SIA will receive the request from Police and will provide all the information about the driver.
35.00 Euro Damage handling fee. Damage handling fee is to be applied per each case of road accident.
100.00 Euro Cleaning and maintaining fee (for smoking). It is strongly prohibited to smoke in Ideal Services SIA's vehicles. In case of smoking in the car cleaning and maintaining fee will be charged immediately.
30.00 Euro For leaving the vehicle in Riga Airport short-term car park P1 (While returning the car to Avis stations please park it in Avis parking lot P4, but not in public parking lots or restricted areas. In case of parking in restricted areas the additional fee is to be applied).
416.00 Euro For missing car keys or documents. When You return the vehicle please do not forget to give us back vehicle documents or keys, otherwise the renter will be charged missing fee for lost documents or keys.
150.00 Euro For lost, stolen, or damaged GPS/WiFi. Customer is responsible for all costs in the event of lost, stolen or damaged GPS/WiFi.
250.00 Euro For lost, stolen, or damaged Child Seat. Customer is responsible for all costs in the event of lost, stolen or damaged Child Seat.
Fuel Policy
All rental cars are given with a full tank of fuel.
In case of returning the vehicle with missing fuel, refuelling is EUR 2.90 per liter + TAX.
Prepayed fuel is optional at Avis counter with regular fuel station prices. With prepaid fuel option (Fuel Up Front) no refund is given for any unused fuel.
